Submit a Recipe
Do you have a rice recipe that you'd like to share with
the hundreds of thousands of people who visit this site each year? Send
it to us and we'll give you full credit! If we decide to publish your
recipe on our site, we will print your name and a link to your Web site
(if you have one), or you can remain anonymous if you wish. .
Recipe submission rules:
- You cannot submit a recipe that you have copied word-for-word from
a book, a magazine, another website, or any other publication. You
CAN submit a recipe that you have adapted from a
previously published recipe!
- Not all recipes submitted will be added to the site.
- Recipes may be rejected because they are a duplicate of one we already
have, insufficient or unclear directions, errors in spelling or grammar,
ingredients that are not readily available in North America, or they
don't fit within one of our current categories. Sadly, I have to delete
a lot of recipe submissions because of vague ingredients or directions, such as:
1 can of evaporated milk
1 package of chocolate chips
You have to say the exact size of the can or package so that inexperienced
bakers trying the recipe for the first time (or people living in countries
where standard sizes of common ingredients are different from yours)
know what size to buy. You must specify:
1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (6-ounce) package of chocolate chips
Or you might have said "bake in a slow oven" without giving
an exact oven temperature. Or your recipe might have called for ingredients
that are extremely difficult to find in North America.
- Recipes are not added immediately, there may be a delay.
- Any recipes you submit may be displayed on the website or used in
any future publications.
- We reserve the right to reject inappropriate URL submissions with
your recipe. These must be family-friendly sites only, and we determine
whether it is family friendly or not.
- By submitting a recipe, you are indicating that you agree to these
terms.
If you agree,
. Thank you!
